Who we are
This service is operated by LLMZap (info@llmzap.com). References to "we", "us", or "our" mean LLMZap.
What data we collect
- The URL you submit is fetched and analysed. It is not stored after the scan completes.
- Your IP address is stored to enforce the 1 free scan limit per visitor.
- A session cookie is set as an additional check for the same purpose.
- Username, email address, and a hashed password (bcrypt).
- Scan history: the URL scanned, score, whether AI tests were run, and the full scan result JSON.
- Credit balance (integer).
What we do not collect
- We do not collect analytics, tracking pixels, or behavioural data.
- We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Third-party services
When AI visibility tests are run, prompts are sent to external AI search engines (Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT, and others). The prompts contain the domain being scanned, not personal data. The privacy policies of those AI services apply to those requests.
Credit purchases are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details — payment information is entered on Stripe's secure page and handled entirely by Stripe. We only receive a confirmation of a successful payment.
Core Web Vitals may be fetched from the Google PageSpeed Insights API. Google's privacy policy applies to those requests.
Cookies
We use one session cookie (session) to maintain login state and to track
guest scan usage. No third-party cookies are set.
Data retention
Account data and scan history are retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Guest scan results are not retained beyond the current browser session.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@llmzap.com. Users in the EU have additional rights under GDPR.
